In The Meadow is a florist in Atlanta, Georgia. It is listed at 925 Garrett St Apt K, Atlanta, GA 30316, which places it among the local businesses of Atlanta that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as flower delivery, flower designer, gift shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Hours are published for 1 day a week. Typical hours are 10 AM–4:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach In The Meadow at (470) 698-2145; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is inthemeadowdesigns.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
